1600 East

Try to avoid this area. I’ve gotten two tickets. Coming from the East, you have increase speed to get up the hill.
the speed is 35 miles per hour then flattens out where the speed trap is. So once you get up the hill, you have to
slow down. The area is where a high school is and there is
a stop light, but not on all the time. I got a ticket at
10:00 at the top of the hill before the high school.
There are 6-7 police cars waiting for you. One radar officer. I was just going through a green light at Rutgers and proceeded to increase speed as soon as I noticed the police cars parked on the right side I slowed but the radar
caught me. I was flagged down and one officer ran in the middle of the street yelling. I was shocked and scared out of my wits. They guided you into the ticket area in front of residential homes. This street is two lanes and I always see the cops in this particular area.
Giving their tickets. It is July 18, 2003 the high school is on summer break. So this definitely convinced to me that this is a money generating trap for the city. Come on 6-7 Police cars! That’s riduculous. I thought there was an accident.

I will never go this way during the am from 6:00 to 3:00pm.
Even though it will take me longer.
