167th Street near Harlem Avenue
167th st., the 1/2 mile or so stretch between Harlem Ave. and Central Ave is a Gold mine for the Tinley Park Police. There are 3 spots on this stretch of road that are enforced using regular and Instant On Radar. The speed limit is ridiculous on this 2 lane wide open road, 35MPH.
The first: Just before Harlem ave. in the Tinley Park water treatment center, A Tinley cop sits in the lot, he likes instant on radar at night.
The second: At the mid-point between Harlem and Central, there is a cemetery entrance, a cop will sit in there, again, they use Instant-On at night.
The third; Right before Central ave., right before the tracks, there is a small side street. A cop sits there, clocking you as you come down the hill. Instant-On used here too.
