The main highways in Frankston (south of Tyler) are notorious speed traps. I’m always careful. On Labor Day at 10:30 PM I was coming into Frankston south from Brushy Creek headed to Tyler. The speed limit just outside and south of Frankston at the bridge is 55, then it drops quickly to 45 and again drops quickly in downtown to 35. I was observing these speed limits carefully and not speeding. I was stopped just north of downtown for failure to dim lights and given a warning. I was asked where I had been, how long I had been there and where I was going. My mom is 93 and Frankston is the only place where she has ever received a speeding ticket. Be careful!
