16th Street near Statefair Boulevard
The local officer sits on the north side of 16th street in between Thomphson Blvd and Statefair Blvd (Closer to Statefair) in an empty lot near or close to the ice machine.

Poster failed to mention two things:
1. For westbound traffic, the officer is in plain view -- not hiding.
2. Immediately past the ice machine is a row of trees, and just past the trees is a city fire station. Emergency personnel entering the roadway can't see westbound traffic because of the trees.
