Police will often sit on the south side of 1st Ave. somewhere between Harlan and Pierce they often ticket people going over the 30mph limit, but also also actively enforcing people going into the bike lane to get around turning traffic stopped in the middle of the road. They can been seen often in the evenings and even more so as the weather gets nice and more pedestrians are using the bike lane. DO not use the bike lane as a "passing" lane.
