when traveling north on 2000 east coming from 9400 south you will drive past a reams grocery store, Carls JR, as you drive further down the hill there is a park on the east side of 2000 east he sits right there where the park comes out onto main road also about 200 yards past the park on a side road he also sits there watch out.

2000 East (Highland Drive) at this location is a four lane road with a center turn lane, much of it with sound walls on both sides, and it goes downhill in two steps heading north from 8800 South (Newcastle Dr.) and Alta Canyon Dr. to Creek Rd. as you just leave Sandy. Sandy Police sit at various locations along this stretch and Cottonwood Heights Police have been seen around Creek Rd. as you change jurisdictions going north. The speed limit is 40 mph, but with the downhills and the good road, it is very easy to exceed that.
