228 passing Pine Lake Park
After park hours, cops will sit in front of the gate trying to nail speeders going in either direction or anybody running the light at the intersection.

It isn't just after park hours...they nail speeders heading both N & S bound on 228th during school zone hours. It's 25mph during these times.
Yes, I do think they monitor the change in speed limit near the school. Ostensibly it would appear they are protecting the kids, but I think it might be a chance to maintain their quota.
It's nowhere near as bad as the cameras they have set up when passing Issaquah High School.
