281 East Loop
East Loop 281 (between I-20 and US-80) in Longview has the ridiculously low speed limit of 60 MPH. This section of the city of Longview is just barely in Harrison County. Harrison County deputies just love to patrol this section of the Loop and hand out the tickets.

Alpine Rd... heading East on 281 past 259, you will come upon Alpine. The police enjoy to hide out on the overpass and the feeder road. And again, 60 MPH is the bizarre but necessary speed.
Listen, I am for obeying the speed limits, but too many times apeed limit signs are placed in locations that are beneficial to cops patrolling to hand out tickets. Cops who patrol these areas are definitely not protecting the citizens. The little towns, wide places in the road', whould be procecuted for deceptive practices.
