380 all the way through the town of Runaway Bay

Runaway Bay, TexasApr 23, 20101 Comments

I didn’t experience the trap – I noticed that a nationally-known company had routed me going from Jacksboro to Decatur on a lesser road than 380, which was actually a longer route, and when I asked why, was told that Runaway Bay is a well-known speed trap.

In all my years affiliated with this organization, I have only seen them do that once before. The town of Runaway Bay might want to consider the implications of being known for this.

Comments:
Runaway Bay is not a speed trap unless you consider going 12-15 miles over the speed limit a speed trap. There are two warning on each end of town, so you know that you are approaching 55 miles per hour speed limit.
