43 Road near South of Lincoln Ave Near Jackson Park.

Between that little bridge for the train to go over 43rd Street, all the way to Forest Home, this area is watched by the police. The last time I drove on that road the speed limit was 25 mph, and it should be 35 mph (with the 25 mph option during school times). I’ve seen plenty of people get busted here, and I’ve seen a number of police sit in the little parking lot of the park just after that bridge, and also at one of the driveway entrances to Jackson Park (coming off of 43rd).

Comments:
People...drivers have to understand that this stretch is a parkway, with picknickers, children dashing out, etc. All parkways are usually slower (25 mph) than normal streets. Stop complaining, and slow down on this stretch!! The place to pick up speed is on south 27th Street south of Layton where the speed is 40 mph...drivers are going 30 and under!! Go figure.
