4400 block of Hudson Drive – Northbound
Hudson Drive is a nice, wide, straight 4-lane highway, but the speed limit is only 35 mph. Heading northbound near the 4400 block there are a couple of commercial driveways with trees that obscure the presence of the waiting patrol car that will nail you with the radar gun. Very easy to go 10-15 mph or more over the limit if you are not familiar with the area/speed limit. As of April 2014 total fine is $141 for 1-15 mph over, $171 for 16-30 mph over (ouch). Officer was friendly, but no mercy for 16 mph over.
