This is actually a 45 zone according to the state but the police write tickets as though it’s a 35 zone. They sit just passed a 45 mile an hour sign that’s a little over 1000 feet past the intersection. They write the tickets as a 35 zone saying that The 35 zone continues from the last signpost prior to the intersection to the 45 mile an hour post but according to the speed zone order they are wrong.
I’ve made the Police Department and the mayors office aware that the city has created a speed trap and they seem pleased. Unwilling to make a change. I was successful in persuading ODOT to put a sign 450 feet past the intersection reading 45.
