4800 N Hill into Riverwoods from Orem Center Street
The hillside from Orem Center Street down into Provo Riverwoods (W 4800 N in Provo) has a speed limit of 35 MPH in both towns. Police appear to use handheld or other radar devices from just south of 4800 N on 420 W. Both Orem and Provo police have been seen following a speeding car into the other city’s jurisdiction. Speeding due to gravity and lack of braking heading east-bound (downhill) as well as speeding up the hill seem to be common offenses.
