Speed limit in construction area normaly 30 MPH but there is one area where the speed limit temporarilly dips to 20 MPH. I had my cruise control at approx 00:30AM with no construction and very little traffic. On the side streets you can see almost every cruiser in Lansing with lights blazing. They have made alot of money in this area. The 20 MPH is not necessary and is restrictive. The cost was $185.00.

NOT A SPEED TRAP.....in 2007 it was under major reconstruction and improvement and 20mph (at times) was TOO HIGH. Sorry about you getting caught violating the law. Well, not really.
