580 Eastbound El Charro Road
Not a speed trap per se, but the CHP is hiding so when you slow to take the right turn, he stops you for running the red light saying you have to stop and then turn. Granted, there is no sign stating that you have to stop at the red, or turn on green only.
I don’t know if they are allowed this, but it is definitely a trap. By the time he finished my ticket and I found a safe place to turn back around on the freeway, another car was pulled over.

There is no need for a sign to say stop on red. A red light means stop. If it is not posted for right turn on green only though, it is a legal turn AFTER a stop on red.
