6 miles – From 192 Indialantic And North A1A To Eau Gallie Causeway (Hwy 518)

4 lane highway speed limit was 45 miles an hr….now 35 with barriers in the road and flashing lights confuse the elderly and bad drivers, so speed is way lower. Cops shooting radar every 1/2 mile… might as well put speed limit at 30mph. My vehicle has a hard time at 35mph. it’s is in between gears I can drive 30 easier than 35. just because of the way cars run! This is totally figured in to catch you speeding. 30 is a good speed next good speed is 40mph. Cars can just run at 40. same way as 30. but 35 is in between, so you always have to be tapping your brakes to stay at 35… So before this section in Indialantic, Melbourne Beach. has 2 lane highway, and speed limit is 40mph. from 2 lane to major highway and lower speed with obstacles in the way. I think it’s setup to try and give you more tickets. There is more problems now than the way was it was….I will not use business in that area because the hassle of even getting to them…So they did all this for people to get to the beach? Mon- Fri- pretty much not used, I think if they removed the markers in the road. and some of the flashing lights. It would be OK.
But, gray hairs and poor drivers can’t drive thru without tapping breaks or stopping at each one, even when know one is crossing…
