600 Block of Lockwood Drive (South Bound)
Traveling South bound in the 600 block of Lockwood Drive (Between Armour Drive to the North and Crites Street to the South).
The posted speed limit is 35 MPH.
Once you cross the intersection at Armour, you travel over a rather steep bridge.
After you cross the bridge here’s a tan brick building on the West (right) side of the roadway. Some of the employees that work in this building park along Lockwood. These cars, along with a bus stop, signs, several trees and shrubbery provide concealment for the Houston P.D. to run radar on the South bound traffic that’s now on the down-side of the rather steep bridge. (If you don’t stay alert, it’s not difficult at all to reach 50 MPH coming off of the bridge.) They pop you out and direct you onto Crites Street to write you up.
They park their patrol cars on Crites Street and employ the portable, hand-held radar units.
Stay alert and be safe.
