64/90

Between Statesville, and Taylorsville on 64/90. If he isn’t clocking you that just means they have one already and that person is getting a ticket. One mile over 55 and they will stop you.

Comments:
this road is not a speed trap i travel it every day and every day i set my cruise on 60mph and have met troopers/sheriffs deputies and dot officers at 60 and not one time have i been stopped for it how ever on a daily basis i do get tailgated and have been passed numerous times with oncoming traffic and the oncoming traffic has had to hit the shoulder to avoid a head on collision and if you take the time to do the math speeding on this stretch of highway or any other for that matter is not worth it. the gain is insignificant for instance 64/90 from i 40 to hwy 18 in lenoir is 37 miles long according to bing maps so @ 60 mph (assuming you can even maintain 60 mph the entire distance) will take .616 hrs or app 36 minutes at 65mph its .569 or 34 minutes @70 mph .528 or 32 minutes and thats assuming you are able to maintain these speeds the entire 37 miles so a 2 to 4 minute gain is not worth a 100 to 200 dollar ticket and please use your cruise instead of the typical 55 65 55 that most people do
