69 Hwy- Excelsior Springs to Bridge by Pour Boys Gas Station
The Mosby Police Department heavily watches Highway 69 and stops a lot of “drivers” on its boundaries. I have been stopped twice on 69 Hwy and have received 3 tickets from them (Cracked wind shield obstructing view of driver, No front license plate, No proof of insurance.) At court I found out they are big on ‘No proof of insurance’ currently. All my cases have been dismissed though, as I fought them well.

A state audit in December 2008 showed that there were missing cash paid for tickets and bonds. Missing receipts. Missing tickets deposits not made timely and forged checks by clerk in the police dept and court clerk. Dockets were not reported and State funds were not paid. How corrupt is this city? I received a non moving violation in September 2008 and just this week got notification by Clay county sheriffs dept that a warrant was issued for failure to appear AND I paid the ticket in October 2008!!!!!!!!!! Anyone else been ripped off or fighting tickets in Mosby???
In August 2012 Clay County Prosecutor Dan White filed a petition to remove the mayor who supports the police chief arrested for domestic assault ( and with restraining orders from two ex girlfriends or wives). The prosecuting attorney's petition is to remove the mayor from office because of criminal felony convictions for drug trafficking
