6th Avenue
There’s a black crown vic with a police officer who radars you coming into the city down this long steep grade. He sits just off the shoulder of the road, at the bottom, in the dark and there’s almost no way to see the car till it’s too late. It’s a posted 45 zone, but seems just to be a revenue maker for the small town.

100% accurate on 6th Ave post! The town of 2,000 with a median household income of $20K annually relies on "writing tickets" to boost the economy. I love how they set up 100 yards after the first 45MPH sign is posted. Unfortunately I drive thru Buena Vista twice a month, my favorite was when they had a road block set up in both directions just checking to see if everyone had a valid drivers license in their possession and writing citations to those who didn't. Don Knotts is smiling in his grave!
