76th Avenue near 232nd Street

In recent months, they haven’t been there as often as they used to be, but they can be anywhere along the stretch between 236th and highway 99…sitting alongside the road in their dark blue cruisers, perhaps in front of another car, or off the road and to the right of the sidewalk, or on an intersecting road. Their favorite spot is towards the southernmost part of this stretch, where they often nail people who step on it to make a green light that soon switches to being red for a fairly long time. Their favorite times have dwindled to night, where they blend in, but previously you could count on a weekend morning campout. Edmonds tends to have a lot of coverage on particularly Friday evenings from this area through 212th S.W.

Comments:
I live near this. Still a very active trap. Motorists think it's a shortcut between 205th and 99 but it's just a huge revenue trap for the city of Edmonds. Keep it at 30 and smile and wave at the revenue collection officer as you legally drive by.
