I'm glad to know this is a speed trap and that other people are just as confused by the signs as I was. I drive through many Texas towns and do my best to obey the speed limits, and most towns are clearly and concisely marked. Not so in Lott, the speed graduation both in and out of town is neither clearly marked so I got caught twice. I live in the DFW area and drive sick parvo puppies to Austin, where a clinic saves most of them. Since driving on the Interstate is not the best for me-my health is not good-I drive on the state hwys quite often. I will have to avoid the Lott area altogether, although I don't want to give up the drives to save the puppies. BTW the officer was very nice to me but still I think the signs should be made clearer and more conclusive as other small towns have them.

Hwy 77 north of downtown Lott is where Falls County Sheriff's officers pulled me over & said I was traveling 83 in a 55 mph zone. Officers then decide they want to conduct a search for illegal drugs. I said no to the search so they detain me for an additional 45 minutes to get the sniffing dog out to the scene. What a joke this Sheriff department is. The Sheriff department "PLANTS" incriminating illegal evidence inside my vehicle and arrest's me and takes me to jail. The case is pending a Court date and I've hired a DFW attorney as well as a City of Marlin attorney to handle the case. Body Cam & Dash Cam video both will be used to show Sheriff's officers misconduct.....
