Although you may get the natural feeling that you are leaving town and the speed limit is returning to 55…surprise, halfway down see the only 40 mph sign and the police flashers in your mirror. You can coast over the speed limit. A merchant told me that when the police use their saturation style patrol technique they are lined up giving out tickets. This really deceives first time visitors and makes a lot of money for the city. By the way, no warnings given, no tolerance, they need the tourists fines. This is why a crime free town this small has a 32 member police staff. P.S. I won’t go back to Arizona for a vacation again.
