Airport Way. through John Wayne Airport to 55 FWY on ramp
On September 4, 2002 at ~3:50 PM, I was driving through the airport on Airport Way. A route I use to bypass the 405 traffic. As I was driving up the ramp I noticed a police car at the top of the hill right side. I don’t recall a posted speed limit, but I was clocked at 54 in a 35 mph zone. I am going to fight it cause I noticed 2 days after getting the ticket there was a speed checker, with newly posted speed signs in the same place where I got the ticket. Also while the policeman was writing the ticket several cars speeded past us. I know that nobody obeys the 35mph limit. its ridiculous. Does anyone know how to find out when a speed limit sign was posted?
