This is the area of Alderwood Mall Pkwy just as you descend doen the hill westbound towards 44th Ave West (Dania Furniture). The motorcycle cop usually sits in an empty driveway and clocks you if you do not slow down from 35 to 30 (going downhill). The driveway is located by Dania furniture just east of WaMu and 40th Ave W. They named the espresso stand which sites at the bottom of the hill "Speedtrap Espresso".

This is Lynnwood's biggest revenue trap. The expresso stand says it all "speed trap expresso". They will get you for 5 over here, and the revenue collections officer will Lie about how fast you were going. I was going 5 over and they tried to tell me I was 14 over. Took 'em to court and got a $116 ticket reduced to $38. Beware of the quick drops in speed in short amounts of time from 40 to 35 to 30 in less than a mile. This is your classic speed trap. Again, beware of "fudged" radar readings at this location.
