Oahu is utalizing a program using the vans with radar and camera. They are mailing out citations by the hundreds. There is talk of a zero tolerance policy. The fine is $27 plus $5 for each mile per hour over the speed limit. The Island is 67 mile long and there are four vans… Also, red-light runners are now having their pictures taken. (This too means a citation.) Happy driving in Hawaii.
