All American Expressway near Raeford Road

Fayetteville, North CarolinaMay 10, 20081 Comments

As you come upon the on ramp, a patrolman is usually waiting just out of sight. The speed limit changes to 45 from 55mph just before the on ramp and many ignore it because the freeway ends just past that at a stop light.

Comments:
I cannot agree that there are speed traps on All American Freeway, due to the fact that most who use it treat it as Race track. The posted speed is 55MPH and no one gets stopped when fudging up to 60. But you can level off at 70 or 75 and you had better be in the right lane or you will get run over..The fact is that there is not enough enforcement it the whole Fayetteville area... And don't use the poor picked on soldier routine.. Remember where you are.. This is not a Combat zone and you are subject to the same laws and regulations as the civilians who live here... So no one is picking on the poor GIs.. BTW I am a retired combat veteran so no kickbaks on that angle.. Slow down , obey the laws and take the cell phones out of your ears.. No need to survive combat and get killed in a stupid auto collision... NOTE: you noticed I didn't say Accident !
