The speed limit is 45 throughout the City of Elkton, it never changes and speed limit signs aren't removed after midnight, they are present 24/7. When you drive 65 to 75 then you should expect to be ticketed, blame no one but yourself. Tennessee has traffic laws just as any other state and when the laws are violated by you, its on you. Public safety is paramount, for all police officers.. Oh and by the way, there are only two officers, not three.
