The speed limit goes back and forth from 55 to 50 to 45. there are two school zones. there are deputies and state troopers all throughout sitting in wait. this is a high tourist area with tourists coming to visit the outer banks from all over the country. im sure dare and currituck make millions on these people. it is disgusting to me.

They watch for out of state plates. I was traveling with traffic but had the only out of state plate. Guess who got stopped. $218 later I can go on my way. My wife wants to retire there. She can go without me. My last trip to spend money in this tourist trap.
