Anderson Road near Linebaugh Avenue

Tampa, FloridaOct 09, 20071 Comments

This trap is a favorite of the Sheriff’s department. They’ve been using this exact same location for years. Their targets are motorists traveling either north or south on Anderson Road, between Linebaugh Avenue on the south end and Lynn Road on the north (actually, those approaching Lynn Road heading south are the ones that really need to really watch it). They lay in wait on the right of way at the intersection of Lynn Road and Linebaugh facing east. They take advantage of the high concrete block wall surrounding Lynn Lake subdivision so you can’t see them until it’s too late. That stretch of Anderson Road right in there is long and straight, so people have a tendency to speed up without realizing it. He either comes after you himself or at times I’ve seen them working in tandem. This one’s been there for YEARS, and they pull it at least one week a month.

Comments:
Need 4 more Sheriffs. 80 Miles is to fast.
