Arlington Heights Road between Dundee and Lake Cook Roads

Buffalo Grove, IllinoisDec 19, 20020 Comments

I heard Buffalo Grove was one of the strictest in enforcing its speed limits, but I didn’t really believe it until I saw this. Arlington Heights Road is a four lane divided highway which already has a speed limit set too low at 35. In this section of road, however, are a high school, an elementary school, and a junior high, all within close proximity of each other. The 20 mph schooltime/temporary speed limit signs are posted as well. I was doing 35 until I saw everyone braking. There must’ve been at least five cruisers which pulled people over on the side. More often than not, the schooltime/temporary 20-limit signs can be ignored – but definitely not here. Watch out during the early morning and afternoon on school days.
