Arlington Heights Road near Between Dundee Road and Lake Cook Road
Arlington Heights Road is a four-lane thoroughfare with a 35 mph limit. In this section, however, it passes by two schools, and the cops appear to strictly enforce the 20 mph school-zone limit in both the morning and afternoon. Over by Cooper Jr High, I’ve seen the traffic brake from 35 down to 20-25, and the reason was that at least five or more cops had pulled individuals off to the side at the same time. Driver beware; Buffalo Grove is one of the strictest locales I’ve seen when it comes to enforcing the posted limits.
