Officer writes ticket within two or three minutes after flashing lights goes off. Plays mind games with you and if you go to court the judge will give him the “benefit of the doubt.” My ticket read 50 in a 25mph zone. The light was off. Officer didn’t know actual time light went off but said he thought it was somewhere between 3:20 and 3:30pm. My ticket was for 3:19. Alabama Public Safety Dept. states flashers at the Elberta School are on from 7:30am-8:15am and 2:30-3:15pm. The ticket cost me $20 plus $130 court costs.
