At the Canal Bridge on Engineers Road, near Belle Chase, La
This speed trap was in operation today, Memorial Day. Just before the Canal Bridge is a closed business with several open bays facing Belle Chase Hwy. The radar car was located almost out of sight in one of the vacant bays. I only found it when my trusty Passport started blairing a warning. I looked into the bays and saw the car. Placquemines Parish is short of cash to fight the oil spill, so they will be out in force to make some money to clean up the spill.
