Atlantic City Expressway near Mile Marker 22 to 6 Eastbound

Just about any cut-out(emergency u-turns)can be a possible
location(especially when the road is wet as they won’t be
on the grass). Between 2AM & 4AM, use caution approaching
the Farley Plaza as they seem to come from nowhere behind
you, and will "pace" your speed on their way to a workbreak
(no radar).I have been told by more than one trooper to
"Just keep it under 80". Written warnings are given, but
rarely. Keep in mind that this area is under the jurisdic-tion of Hamilton and Egg Harbor Twps.(2 of 4 presided over
by a certain judge, who earlier this year was "reprimanded"
by the NJ Attorney General for allowing plea downs of
2 and 4 point speeding tickets to guilty of "local" ordi-
nances,of which the State of NJ gets NO revenue). There will
no mercy for speeding offences for now…Also use extreme
caution approaching the "twin" cut-outs between the Farley
rest stop & the $2.00 tolls, especially during holiday week-ends(you’ll be on a stretch consisting of 5 lanes, and the
temptation to open it up must be avoided). Out of state
speeders are easy prey here; you can use them as "sacri-
ficial lambs", but stay back about 1/4 mile as they will
popped on this long curve.
