Officers will set up speed traps here every Thursday night in order to catch college kids going from town to Jitterbugs and back.

Jitterbugs burned few years back no longer a threat, however there is a cop that sits at the stop light between Austin Street and FM 1638 to catch those of us that do rolling stops, has gotten me twice!
It is oretty easy to avoid tickets for making rolling stops. Just come to a complete halt at the traffic control device....
By the way - stopping and looking for traffic before proceeding is a lot safer, too.
