An Oakland County Deputy is sometimes parked on the south side of Avon watching eastbound traffic as it approaches the hill to go down towards Dequindre Road and Yates Cidear Mill. There are also deer in that immediate area especially at night, so it is best to take it easy through that small stretch of pavement.
