Bair Ranch exit on 1-70
Occasional speed trap at Bair Ranch exit. Usually to trap East bound vehicles on weekends. You are timed from an aircraft and stopped as you exit Glenwood Canyon traveling East bound towards Dotsero

Yep they got me. The use choppers to check your speed and radio to troopers at the end of the canyon. Anywhere you see large white bands painted on the sides of the road, they use the time it takes for you to pass from the first stripe to the second, to calculate your speed. No Name, Bear Ranch, Gypsum, and Eagle all have these stripes as you pass the exits. There is also a set just west of the first tunnel in the westbound lane of Glenwood Canyon.
