Earle, AR is a well known speed trap and I don’t think I will ever travel through that town again. As I approached Earl, AR I slowed down and set my crews control to the 45 mph speed limit. It was late in the evening and there were very few drivers on the road. Even thought I wasn’t speeding, a police officer pulled me over. I knew I wasn’t because of the crews control so I asked him how fast I was going and he said he didn’t know but he knew I was speeding. He took my information and wrote me a ticket for “inattentive driving”. He said it was against their city ordinance to use cruise control in town. It doesn’t matter if you speed through there or not, they will pull you over and steal your money.
