Bear Valley Road near Cumberland Road

The Bear Valley Springs police usually have one of their trucks on the side of the road near the cross street of Bear valley rd/Cumberland rd. I’ve seen them there at all times of day/night. They’re a small town rural bored force with little to no crime. So, they will pull over speeders coming down the hill on Bear Valley. The speed limit is 45mph, but with the fairly steep incline of the road its easy to go way faster. Since many accidents occur on this hill dubbed ‘domino hill’ due to the annual multi-car pileups from winter snow/ice, its not unreasonable to go slow. If you’re in Bear Valley Springs, drive the speed limit for the good of your driving record and personal safety.
