Beltway 8 East Bridge over the Ship Channel, northbound
cop will sit at the bottom of the bridge as you are shooting down and shoot your car with his radar gun. Speed limit on the bridge is 50 (of all things) and of course everyone is going faster and he can pick and choose.

This is a speed trap. 50 mph is the limit for a short distance, not even enough to matter. But it's well taken advantage of. Most cars hardly notice it because they are traveling at normal freeway speeds. My daughter got a ticket there. So ridiculous. It's hard to have respect for those that do this, especially targeting productive citizens.
