Exiting 101 South on the Bernal Road exit just past the overpass for Monterey Highway at the corner of Bernal and San Ignacio. Posted speed limit is 40 but traffic frequently flows at approximately 45 to 50 mph. Radar is used at this location from the Jack in the Box parking lot. Drivers are unable to see the officer since he is obscured by bushes at this location. Come down the hill over 40 mph and it’s ticket time!
