Between Hwy 18 & City Limit sign on Star-Brandon RD.
Police like to sit in numerous driveways with radar. Catch you coming around curve or top of hill.

I travel on Star-Brandon Road almost every day (for the past 15 years) and I have seen the police using radar but they will use a driveway because there is no place for them to park and I welcome them on this road. The speed limit is 45 MPH and I have seen cars running 55 and 60 as they pass me. This road has curves that can be tricky to take at high speed due to its width.
There are no speed traps on this road. The use of radar to hold down deaths due to speeders. There also are no speed traps on Highway 18 from I-20 to Star-Brandon Road as police are parked on the side of the highway where they are visable to all drivers. Would you call that a speed trap? I don't think so.
