Between Salado and Bruceville-Eddie, DPS using LIDAR!!
Northbound and southbound on IH35 between Salado and just south of Bruceville-Eddie (Bell County) there is moderate to intense 24hr enforcement of the ridiculously low speed limit (65-70). Specifically in the hilly areas around exits 270-300. Be watching for troopers off to the side of the frontage roads at the tops and bottoms of the hills. They are using LIDAR which has almost instant speed reading. A laser detector will not save you since there won’t be enough time to slow down.
