Between Wild Wash Rd and Outlet Mall Rd
CHP units are frequently observed citing drivers on this stretch of I-15 between Victorville and Barstow. They are especially active at night before midnight. I’ve driven this section of road the last 22 years and the cat and mouse game between the CHP and motorists has not changed. Beware, if you go over 10 mph over the speed limit of 70, your probability of getting a speeding ticket is pretty good.

The CHP is there often. But it's not really a trap. They just happen to be parked on the North or South bound onramps.
