Bottom of Passing lane 40 km South of Temagami
Frustrated motorists are baited by locals who will impede traffic by traveling well below the posted speed limit. When passing lane comes up they increase speeds upto 130 km with one vehicle following and blocking the passing lane then pull in at end of passing lane and return to below posted speed limit. Next passing lane that extends over a hill with OPP at bottom of lane on other side. Same scenario they speed up and 2nd or 3rd vehicle will pull out and block lane and follow at same speed as lead vehicle then pull in just before the crest of the hill. Hence the police get higher speed fines to fill the provincial coffers.
