Park police in unmarked car ticketed me at 29mph in a 25mph zone. Officer was clearly hiding – we were out-of-towners and not familiar with the area; came off of a 45mph zone on the West end of town by the Community college and all the churches. Officer kept dwelling on my being from out of town and said I was a "nice man." Lady at antique mall downtown heard of this ridiculous ticket, and got angry at Freeport for doing things like this to tourists, when the town is visibly a dump and in desperate need of any tourists. RubberMaid took their HQ and left town for Atlanta last week I heard….probably too many tickets!
