Brainard and I-271
When you get off I-271 and turn onto Brainard, be very careful. Brainard is a decent size stretch of road and there are few lights. Most people get off the freeway and want to do 55 or 60 down Brainard and Lyndhurst police know this. Brainard is a 35 zone. Police will sit on the sidestreets or in the parking lot for the city pool. 35 is strictly enforced and they regularly get 10-15 people an hour

Police sit on side street mostly after dark looking for those turning right on red coming off I-271 ramp. No reason for this to be a no turn on red except for revenue.
I live off Meadowwood and Brainard and most definitely that whole area around I-271 and Brainard exit is a big police watch. We see people getting tickets all the time. At least once or twice a week when we drive down that way there are three police cars and one poor soul pulled over. Be careful all over Lyndhurst. Going north on Brainard from I-17l, on both the right and the left, police hang out and they aren't sipping coffee!
