Brandt School Road near State Route 910

Franklin Park, PennsylvaniaAug 20, 20040 Comments

The other night, I was traveling down Brandt School Road heading towards McCandless at about 1:45 a.m. and observed a Franklin Park cruiser sitting in a parking lot off to the left, about a quarter mile from Route 910. His parking lights were on and he had a clear view of a set of VASCAR lines. Franklin Park cruisers are black, so, be careful at night. The posted speed limit was 35 mph. I had a feeling that somewhere along Brandt School, a cruiser would be sitting, so, I was doing 35 mph on the dot, so, he left me alone. Brandt School is a windy road with many hills and many VASCAR lines. The road eventually lands you in McCandless Township and into the jurisdiction of a very tough police force that loves watching VASCAR and writing tickets. McCandless is notorious for NOT giving warnings. Be careful on this road, especially at night, as there are a lot of very dark side roads and cut-outs where cops could be hiding.
