Traffic light at the U-turn for northbounders. Southbound traffic approaches U-turn area after coming over a moderate rise and can not see cops until 150 yards away. Posted speed limit is 40 mph. Some parts of the parkway are indeed narrow and curvy and drivers should exercise caution. Other parts are wide and straight and speeds of 55 to 60 mph are common and safe in good weather.
